Bicycle Sundays Return to Bronx River Parkway

By Lisa Dunleavy April 17, 2019

Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway, one of Westchester’s longest-running and popular recreational programs, starts up again in May for three dates -- May 5, 12 and 19 -- and then five dates in June -- June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. The program is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During Bicycle Sundays, the parkway is open exclusively for bicyclists, joggers, walkers, foot scooters and strollers from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers, a round-trip distance of 13 miles. The road is closed to automobiles in that stretch of parkway. Admission to the event is free. Parking is available at the County Center lot in White Plains for $7.
