Ring in the New Year at Westchester's Winter Wonderland

Families are invited to enjoy a celebration at 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland– a signature winter event in Westchester County –will host its fourth annual family friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration on Tuesday, December 31st at 7:00 p.m. at Kensico Dam in Valhalla.  Families with children of all ages are invited to enjoy the ball drop celebration at 7 p.m. followed by a five-minute exiting pyrotechnic show. The family-friendly event will also include all the regular activities that occur at Westchester’s Winter Wonderland, including amusement rides, ice skating, circus performances, strolling characters and more. M&T Bank is the proud sponsor of the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop.

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland takes place weekdays through January 4, 2020.  For one $20 all-inclusive ticket price, guests can enjoy unlimited access to the new Santa’s Village at the North Pole with live reindeer, amusement rides, a live circus performance, ice skating rink plus free skate rental, and a dazzling holiday light show featuring favorite elves Ned and Albert.  Proceeds from this event benefit WPF and allow the organization to further its mission to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of parks, trails and open spaces within the Westchester County Parks system.

  • Monday-Friday – 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday/Sunday – 4 to 10 p.m. *Opens one hour early at 4 p.m.
  • CLOSED: Tuesday, Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve & Wednesday, Dec. 25 – Christmas Day
