Wild Summer is here with The Rewilding School! Options for ages 3 - 15

By Jonathan Sherburne and Kelly Fitzpatrick January 11, 2024

There may still be snow on the ground, but that doesn't mean it's too early to plan for warm weather fun. Our friends at The Rewilding School have opened registration for Wild Summer 2024 and spots for the weekly themed sessions go quickly! Our oldest has loved her Wild Summers and is looking forward to the new offering for older children. Each of her camp days, she ran off happily smelling of sunscreen and bug spray ready for a day outdoors. Natalia still talks about the shelters built, her newfound knowledge of the river, and the ways in which she worked with her peers to collaborate and innovate on the carefully designed tasks that were presented.

What is Wild Summer all about?

If you are new to Wild Summer, each week is filled with exciting themes and imaginative programming that their naturalists and educators pack full of exploration, games, and play--all against the backdrop of skill building in the natural areas of their partnerships.

This summer, you can expect to find a return of their usual groups - Wanderers (Grades 1-2), Adventurers (Grades 3-6), and Summer Preschool (Ages 3-5). Additionally, The Rewilding School is also introducing OWLs, which is a new program geared for 12-15 years that will build outdoor survival skills and teach participants stewardship and leadership skills. OWLs is scheduled for Croton only.
