 The Skate Park features bank ramps, quarter pipes, pyramid and grinding rail. Fun for all ages and skill levels. Permits may be purchased for the 2010 season. Group lessons for beginners and advanced skate boarders will be available. Helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads must be worn and you must supply your own skateboard.   Hours of Operation from June 30 - September 6 Open Wednesday - Sunday Wednesday - Friday: 3:00 - 7:00 pm  Saturday: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm Sunday: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

 Visitors will enjoy close up encounters with numerous varieties of butterflies and learn about their importance in nature. See up close how adult butterflies are wonderfully diverse in shape, size, and color.  In addition to just being beautiful and fun to watch, see how active butterflies are during the day. Because of their interactions with plants and other animals, butterflies play an important role in the web of life. Our exhibit will include many “butterfly friendly” plants. Learn how butterfly caterpillars are voracious plant-eaters, yet they play an important role in plant survival. Find out how you can help butterflies by conserving or restoring butterfly habitats. 
Where: The Center is located at 99 Dromore Road, off Central Park Avenue, in Scarsdale, NY. Parking is free, and handicapped parking is available.
