The area is buzzing with excitement over the recent opening of the Mount Kisco location of Dentistry for Children. I had the opportunity to visit and take a look behind the scenes and was blown away by the level of thought and attention to details that has gone into the entire design. Founder Dr. Gary has created a space for children to come for routine care without feeling the typical nervous energy that can usually accompany a trip to the dentist. From the friendly faces behind the desk, to the superhero murals and selfie wall, it's a place you look forward to visiting! Dr. Dan is at the helm of the Mount Kisco branch and you'll also see him all around the community, even visiting local schools to help children feel at ease. The team has had several recents events for the community, such as a family music class, and they've also supported our Mac KID Craft events by making special crafts and a visit from the tooth fairy possible!
What is the story behind your business? How did you get started?
Dentistry For Children was initially founded by Dr. Gary in Hastings-on-Hudson over 25 years ago. Through the years, the practice grew to become a trusted name with multiple locations throughout Westchester. Dr. Gary and Dr. Dan opened our Mt. Kisco location this past January and could not be more excited!

What are some fun facts about you or your business?
Dr. Dan is a lifelong musician. He now combines his love for music and teeth by writing and performing silly, educational songs for children throughout the community!
What does your business offer its customers?
Dr. Dan and the staff at Dentistry For Children in Mt. Kisco are guided by three goals at all times:
1. Meet every child where they are
2. Make dental visits fun (If your reaction is "fun?" then you haven't seen our office yet!)
3. Provide the highest quality dental care

What are you most proud of?
We are most proud of the team we have built. Every member of our staff is dedicated to our mission of providing excellent and compassionate care. We take great pride in serving this community.
Our attention to detail, personalized service and relationships with our customers. Many of them are repeat customers and have even become friends.

Anything else you’d like to share with readers?
In addition to dentistry, we are also focused on engaging the community and our patients through the Arts. We offer free music classes in our large waiting room/play space throughout the year. We will also be showcasing local young artists on the walls of the practice. So if there is a child/teen in your life that loves to draw, paint, take photos, etc... -- let us know!
