Are you a Westchester County parent looking for fun ways to get in on the Olympic games with your children? The Paris Olympics begin July 26th and run through August 11th. During this time, there are many activities and events taking place. We've rounded up seven options in and around Westchester County that will have you cheering! From watch parties to reading games, these events cater to different interests and ages!
1. Paris Olympics at Mount Kisco Library
Mount Kisco Library will have an ongoing interactive exhibit for children and families. Watch the games in the lobby and keep up with the medal counts, too.
2. Summer Olympics at Stepping Stones Museum, Norwalk, CT
Enjoy special programming during the Olympic games at Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk. Children will engage in themed activities and physical challenges during their Olympics Days.
3. The Tiny Mess Club To-Go Olympics Bin
Tiny ones from 1 - 6 love playing with the sensory fun on location at The Tiny Mess Clubhouse in Pleasantville, as well as on Tuesdays in Fleetwood. Did you know you can also rent to-go bins? The Olympic themed ones will add an extra touch to a playdate, party or just because!
4. The MyGym Games for all ages 7/26 5 p.m. Yorktown
Sign up in advance for this special event for all ages at My Gym Yorktown to celebrate the Olympic Games.
5. Daily Watch Parties at AMC Theaters
For the first time ever, AMC Theaters will have live watch parties at select locations. You can even rent out the theater for your own private event!
6. Summer Reading Celebration with Olympic Games 7/25 Mount Pleasant Library
Mount Pleasant Library is celebrating reading and the Olympics with this annual celebration on July 25th to get the party started.
7. Watch the Olympic Games at Hudson Yards | Hudson Yards
If you are up for a wander into the city, Hudson Yards is a family friendly watching destination. A huge screen will be set up outside for an easy day that combines wo special summer events, the Olympics and outdoor movie nights!
