ArtsWestchester and the Village of Pleasantville, with grant support from NYS Assemblymember Shimsky, are collaborating to bring a vibrant public art installation to Pleasantville. In partnership with the Pleasantville Public Art Committee, a design competition was held to select a site-specific mural for Jackson Alley, the rear exterior wall of the Jacob Burns Film Center (approximately 8–10 feet tall and up to 80 feet long, totaling about 800 square feet).
Three finalists have been selected, and we are seeking public input to help inform the final selection.
