From the website:
Since 1928, guests of all ages have been making memories and special moments at Playland. That is nearly 100 years of history! As the first planned amusement park in the country, Playland was designed using art deco architecture and designated a National Historic Landmark. Those beautiful and classic details are still part of the park’s unique characteristics today.
Playland was designed to be an all-around entertainment destination for visitors, offering the amusement park, lake activities, a beach and swimming pool. To this day, visitors can ride seven of the historical rides that date as far back as the 1928 opening. The Grand Carousel, The Derby Racer, The Whip, The Kiddie Coaster, The Kiddie Carousel, Ye Olde Mill, and the world famous Dragon Coaster.

“A very good vibe. So glad to be able to share this piece of history with my children and to see them smile as my father saw mine. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful Father's day.”

"All around family fun. Good for old and young. Took my teens and my 2 yr old and everyone had a great time. Price was super affordable and close to home. It's been quite a few years since I went to Playland and I forgot how much fun it was. Will be repeating the visit hopefully before the season is over."

"Always a great value. For the number of rides and attractions vs the entry fee, you just can't beat it. Great views of the Long Island sound and the park from the Ferris Wheel."

"I absolutely love Rye Playland! Its the perfect place to go with family, friends, kids or believe it or not dates, significant others. Its a friendly, scenic place to go outside of NYC. With entertainment for kids and adults. There website gives a calendar of events. Concerts etc... Recommend it. Went for 4th of July. It was very busy but worth it. On holidays its important you get there early. There is also Rye Beach and access to boat/paddle boar rides."
