The Speech and Language Lady is a dedicated private practice offering speech and language therapy for children between 0-16 years, both in their homes and through teletherapy. Led by Mary Dent, a certified Speech and Language Pathologist, our practice is committed to delivering engaging, functional, neurodiversity-affirming services. Mary’s approach is rooted in child-centered methods, ensuring personalized support tailored to each child's unique communication goals. Our mission is to support children in thriving socially, emotionally, and academically. We also provide parent coaching and maintain ongoing communication with families to equip parents with effective strategies for encouraging speech and language development in daily life. Mary has experience working within the Natural Language Acquisition framework to support Gestalt Language Processors, an area she is particularly passionate about.
