Description
The Yorktown Lions and the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department are co-sponsoring the annual “Easter Egg Hunt” at the Route 202 Fields at Downing Park on Saturday, April 5 (rain date 4/12). The event is only open to Yorktown residents.
Children, under the age of 12, are encouraged to participate. However, all children must be registered on line through the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department website. The event will take place during three time slots: 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30. Register now for your preferred time.
All children will be hunting for colored eggs with candy inside. Also, there will be a jelly bean contest and special prizes for finding special eggs. In addition, there will be photo moments with the Easter Bunny and other cartoon characters. The Yorktown Lions have purchased 6,000 eggs and have prepared 800 candy bags for the Easter Egg Hunt.
